Sri Lanka’s Tea Trails scoops more prestigious acolades

Ceylon Tea Trails – The world’s first integrated tea bungalow resort has recently featured in the National Geographic magazine’s latest compilation of ‘Journeys of a Lifetime – The World’s Greatest Trips’. Managed by Forbes & Walker Leisure, Managing Director, Thilan Wijesinghe, said
‘This is a remarkable achievement for a Sri Lankan resort and destination to be featured in such a prestigious publication.’ Tea trails consists of four unique luxury estate bungalows flanked by tea plantations and lakes.

Tom Armstrong

Tom Armstrong is one of the founding members of Experience Travel, having first fallen in love with Sri Lanka in 1999. He was in the country at the time of the 2004 tsunami, which prompted him to found the Aid Sri Lanka Foundation. Tom also spent time living in Thailand, and has travelled extensively throughout Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. He is one of several investors in The Mudhouse, Anamaduwa.
