This blog is hosted by the Experience Travel Group - the specialists for tailor-made travel in Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and the Maldives.
We try and share with you interesting places that we find or hear about, news on travel, news on the travel industry and our thoughts on Asia itself. We are baeed in the UK, but one of us at least is generally on the road checking out new places, new experiences and ideas which we can feed back into our holidays and tours.
We are, by the way, Sam Clark, Tom Armstrong and Melissa Nicholas - the founder members of the team. Tom is permanently in Asia, looking after our clients, researching new places and keeping an eye on the labour of love he part owns - The Mudhouse. Melissa and Sam between them run the London office of Experience Travel, while trying to get away as much as possible. Nick Clark and Maurice Pfister also work in our London office and will contribute tales from their own travels in the region.
We also have some guest contributors who we have asked to help us bring Asia that bit closer. Right now we have a restaurant reviewer in Bangkok, a theatre producer in Mumbai, a professional photographer and various travellers in the region too - reporting from the front line.
We welcome guest contributors - particularly clients who would like to blog about their experiences and share tips and ideas with others. Do send us your contributions, pictures and video welcome too and we will happily post it.
